Eating well can feel easier.
Appetite changes. Routines shift. Nutrition advice can feel confusing.
I help you turn general recommendations into everyday meals and habits that fit your life.
Science matters. So does real life.
I’m Claudia Solt, MS, Nutrition and Wellness Consultant.
My background began in nutrition science and metabolic research. Working in senior care showed me how often good information gets lost in everyday life.
Senior Care Nutrition LLC grew out of that gap: practical, personalized nutrition education and support for changing appetites, routines, and stages of life.

How We Work Together
When nutrition becomes part of the conversation.
Healthy aging does not happen in isolation. Older adults, their families, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and the communities around them all play important roles in supporting well-being and quality of life.
Senior Care Nutrition LLC is committed to supporting older adults, their families, and the communities they call home through accessible, evidence-informed nutrition education and practical everyday guidance.

That commitment extends beyond individual services. Through complimentary community presentations, wellness outreach, and introductory caregiver education, SCN shares practical knowledge and complements the valuable work already taking place throughout the senior-care community.
Whether someone is adjusting to a new living environment, navigating changes in daily routines, or looking for ways to eat well as they age, nutrition often becomes part of the conversation.
Complimentary educational opportunities are subject to availability and scope.

When might someone you serve benefit from nutrition support?
Nutrition-related challenges may surface during everyday conversations, home visits, care transitions, or changes in a person’s health and independence. Explore a setting or professional role below for examples of where additional practical nutrition education might help. These are examples, not an exhaustive list of partners.

Social Workers, Case Managers & Discharge Planners
A client preparing to return home or transition to another care setting may be uncertain about grocery shopping, meal preparation, changing appetites, or maintaining regular meals. SCN can provide practical nutrition education and support as individuals and families establish workable routines.
Physicians & Primary Care Providers
A patient may need help putting general nutrition guidance into practice, especially when everyday eating, changing appetites, or weight-management goals feel difficult to navigate. SCN offers practical education, achievable goals, and follow-up support that can complement medical care. Clinical nutrition assessment and therapeutic dietary needs remain with appropriately licensed healthcare professionals.
Home Care & Caregiving Agencies
Caregivers may notice a client eating less, relying on a limited range of foods, or finding meal preparation increasingly difficult. SCN can work with clients and families on practical nutrition goals and, with permission from the client or a legally authorized representative such as a healthcare power of attorney when applicable, collaborate with caregivers and the care team to support those goals in daily routines. This may include preparing appealing, nutrient-dense meals that reflect the client’s preferences, abilities, and established care guidance.
55+ & Senior Living Communities
Across 55+ active adult communities, independent living, assisted living, and memory care, residents may face changing appetites, new dining options, or difficulty maintaining familiar eating routines. Caregivers and community staff may be among the first to notice when additional practical guidance could help. SCN can be a resource for residents, families, and care teams alongside existing community services.
Senior Placement & Care Advisors
Moving into senior living or returning home can change familiar foods, dining arrangements, and daily routines. Clients and families may appreciate practical support navigating meal choices and establishing manageable eating habits in a new environment.
Rehabilitation & Therapy Providers
An older adult working toward strength, mobility, or greater independence may also have difficulty eating enough, getting adequate protein or fluids, or managing meals at home. SCN can provide everyday nutrition education that complements rehabilitation and therapy services, while clinical dietary needs remain with licensed healthcare professionals.
Senior Centers & Community Organizations
When a community needs an accessible resource to help members understand nutrition and healthy aging, SCN can contribute through complimentary community education and wellness outreach. Explore the Presentations & Community Education page for topics, formats, and how to plan an event. Complimentary opportunities are subject to availability and scope.
