Meet Claudia Solt, MS

Research & Publications
Research informs the thinking. Real life shapes the guidance.
My background in nutritional science includes doctoral research focused on obesity and hormonal influences, followed by work in obesity research in the Department of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes at the University of Colorado. That experience continues to influence how I evaluate nutrition research, ask questions, and make scientific information understandable and relevant to everyday life.

Research is valuable, but it doesn't always provide simple answers to the decisions people face in their kitchens, grocery stores, or daily routines. My background taught me to appreciate what research can tell us, recognize its limitations, and think carefully about how that information applies to real people. That's the perspective I bring to Senior Care Nutrition LLC.
I’m the founder of Senior Care Nutrition LLC, and my goal is to make evidence-based nutrition practical, approachable, and useful in everyday life.
I hold a master’s degree in Human Nutrition and have a background in obesity and metabolic research, including work in the Nutrition and Obesity Research Core at the University of Colorado. I’ve also spent years working within the senior-care community, where I saw firsthand how often older adults want trustworthy nutrition guidance but don’t always know where to turn.
Senior Care Nutrition LLC brings those experiences together. I work with older adults one-on-one and in small groups, helping them make realistic changes that support healthy aging, weight management, strength, energy, and independence.
My approach isn’t about perfect diets or complicated rules. It’s about translating nutrition science into choices that make sense for the way you actually live.
